Workshops, Programs & Events – Registration & Refund Policy

Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

Refunds & Cancellations

  1. Student Cancellations
  • 30 Days or Less Before Workshop Start Date
    No refunds will be issued.
    However, the amount paid may be credited toward a future workshop taught by Tucson Massage CE Institute’s in-house instructors.

Important Details:

    • Credits cannot be applied to workshops hosted by Visiting Providers.
    • Credits may be transferred to another individual with prior approval from a Tucson Massage CE Institute officer.
    • Credits must be used within one year from the original cancellation date. Any unused balance after one year will be forfeited.
  1. Instructor Cancellations – 14 Days or More Before Workshop

If an instructor cancels a class with at least 14 days’ notice:

  • You are eligible for a partial refund of your registration fee.
  • Refund Amount = Total paid minus the deposit and a $50 administrative fee (per workshop).
  • Refunds are processed within 30 days of the cancellation.
  1. Cancellations Due to Emergencies or Instructor Illness

If a class is canceled because of natural causes, medical emergencies, or instructor illness, the same refund policy as above will apply:
Refund Amount = Total paid minus the deposit and a $50 administrative fee.

Other Cancellations

If a workshop, event, or program is canceled due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or other qualifying emergencies:

  • 100% of the paid amount, including the deposit, will be credited toward another workshop taught by an NCBTMB-Approved Provider of Tucson Massage CE Institute (Dianne ‘Mo’ Taith, Christian Duran, Terry Hall, or Clinton Horner).
  • Credit must be used within one year of the original cancellation.
  • Credits may be transferred to another individual with officer approval.

No-Show / Class Abandonment

Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notice—or leaving before the class concludes—is considered class abandonment.

  • This results in forfeiture of your registration fee with no refund or credit issued.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions (formerly Individual Coaching Sessions)

Due to the personalized nature and preparation required:

  • No refunds are available for coaching sessions.

Residential Trainings & Retreats

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit is required.
  • Cancellation 61–90 days before the retreat allows 50% of your deposit to be credited toward another program or service offered by Tucson Massage CE Institute. The credit must be used within one year.
  • Cancellation 60 days or less before the retreat means you forfeit all payments, with no option for refund or transfer.

Please note: Most retreat-related expenses are paid in advance (up to 60 days); therefore, no exceptions can be made after this deadline.

Policy Updates

Tucson Massage CE Institute reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, at its sole discretion.
